About Paul
I wasn’t politically engaged until 2016.
That year, I watched as evangelicals - people who claimed to stand for love,
grace, and compassion - lined up behind a false idol, a golden calf. It shattered
any illusion I had about the values they preached, and I left the Republican
Party for good.
“You cannot serve two masters.” If you claim this is a Christian nation: Why
were our Black brothers and sisters worth only 3/5 of a white man? Why
couldn’t they worship God in the same church? Drink from the same water
fountain? Sit on the same bus? Vote? Why were Asians put into internment camps? Why didn’t women have the right to vote? To have credit? No-fault divorce? “Free will” over their own body?
These are not the values of Christ - they’re the legacy of white supremacy disguised as religion and nationalism.
Where is your compassion? Empathy? Kindness? What kind of God do you people serve demonizing immigrants and owning the libs driving your hate and misogyny?
I’ve been committed to speaking out against white Christian nationalism and the systems of power that prop it up. This country was never built for all people - it was designed to benefit a narrow group: 21-year-old, land-owning white men.
My mission is to tear down the patriarchy and help build a society rooted in true equality. I believe in free will - period. Free will for women to choose what they do with their bodies. For people to love who they want. To choose any religion they want. And most importantly, not to have Christianity forced onto our children in schools.
